Client's Responsibilities
Provisions
of Information: A
client has the responsibility to provide, to the best of his/her knowledge
accurate and complete information about present complaints, past illnesses,
hospitalizations, medications and other matters relating to his/her health.
Compliance
with Instructions: A
client has the responsibility for following the treatment plan recommended by
the doctor, therapist, or counsel or primary responsible for his/her care, including
following instructions given by social workers and other allied personnel. A
client has the responsibility to keep appointments and, when he/she is unable
to do so for any reason, for notifying the responsible personnel.
Refusal
of treatment: A client
has the responsibility for his/her actions if he/she refuses treatment or does
not follow the treatment plans recommendations. Charges: A client has the
responsibility for assuring that the financial obligations of his/her charges
are fulfilled as promptly as possible.
Rules
and Regulations: A
client has the responsibility for following Foundations rules and regulations
affecting client care and conduct.
